What Taboo Subjects Are You Pushing This Year? - Hollywood Camera W...
In the past year, movies like 13th, and Get Out, are making waves like never before, and it’s about time that we talk about race. Thissubjectis more complicated because racism seems hard to prove to people who haven’t experienced it. What are the 3 taboosubjects? Politics, Sex and Religion are 3 topics which, in a multicultural and liberal country like Australia, can spell trouble between roommates, classmates, work mates but even between friends. It is for that reason that these topics are referred to as taboo topics. A _ favourite subjectis science because it is interesting and fun. I like to do experiments and see how things work. If I study hard, I can get good grades. Last semester I B _ all my exams, and my parents were very proud of me. I enjoy learning new things and asking questions. I think about anything that is remotely uncomfortable to talk about from death to divorce to mental health to illness. To family problems to financial problems to uncomfortable obsessions. Having recently embarked on an attempt to grow a beard for the first time in my 34 years – What? What areyou looking at me like that for? – I have been quite surprised at people’s reaction to it.
