Caitlin Clark's Shower Breakthroughs Will Improve Your Mental Healt...
North Carolina recently hosted its second annual Business Summit on MentalHealth, where business and healthcare leaders gathered to discuss the critical impact of youth mentalhealth on the state’s workforce. MentalHealth Awareness Week is a vital time to shine a light on mental wellbeing, and this year, we’re focusing on a powerful and often overlooked resource: nature. For centuries, humans have found solace and rejuvenation in the natural world. We all have mentalhealth. Mentalhealth is our ability to engage with our emotions, thoughts, interactions with others, and the world around us. In fact, research on workplace productivity has shown that people who take intentional breaks often return to their tasks with better focus and less mental fatigue. Giving your mind a chance to rest isn’t laziness—it’s part of maintaining mental well-being. Exercise is a powerful and effective tool for maintaining and improvingmentalhealth. Regular physical activity has been shown to reduce symptoms of stress, anxiety, and depression while promoting emotional well-being and psychological resilience. “I definitely think there is a link between mentalhealth and the act of cleaning," she said. “Repetitive, physical activities like cleaning can be regulating for the nervous system because they’re predictable, structured and give a clear sense of completion,” she says. Then she started seeing a therapist for anxiety, and within six months, her skin was clear. She didn’t change a single product. She just changed her mental landscape. A groundbreaking digital perinatal mentalhealth pilot for Black and ethnically minoritised women has helped women access support faster, complete therapy at higher rates, and recover more successfully than national averages.
